Mihyun Yun, the recipient of the 10th DOOSAN Artist Award in 2019 presents a new work. Also the winner of the 55th Dong-A Theater Award for Best Play, Yoon has also created plays MY AUNT IN TEXAS, Granny from Granny Flower Bar Said She’ll Give Me Melon Seeds, There She Goes Again With the Basket on Her Head, and creative opera Garden Killer, etc. Yun expresses her own theatric language through unexpected development, and tight tension between representational and post-representational writing. The play was evaluated to demonstrate Yun’s stylistic sense of realism which has drawn realistic portrayal of contemporary society in her various works.
